Generate A Key And A Certificate Smart Card
I am trying to use the below commands to repair a cert so that it has a private key attached to it. When I run the command it brings up the authentication issue, but will only let me choose 'Connect a Smart Card.' Since I am not using smart cards, my only option is to Cancel and the process fails. Any ideas why it is not letting me type in a password?

I re-keyed the cert on the new server and sent to godaddy. I redownloaded the new cert twice just in case I got a bad download.

the certutil error is: Access Denied. Only thing I can think of is that the cert is stuck somewhere in AD. I don't have a copy of the old cert, but I'm thinking it has the same serial even though it was re-keyed (not sure about that)
